I am beyond thrilled to announce that "My Life By Design - The Ultimate Transformational Journal and Workbook" is featured on one of the most popular book tables at SoulScape Gift & Bookstore @soulscapelife in beautiful Encinitas, California. 😊 I am absolutely blown away! This is the first time my journal will be available in a bookstore, and it's a moment filled with gratitude and excitement. The journey to creating this book goes way back to my fifth-grade days. I vividly remember feeling unsure about my spelling and writing abilities after an incident where a teacher made me doubt myself. It took years for me to regain confidence in my writing skills, especially after being moved from advanced English to basic English in high school. |

But through the power of journaling, shifting my mindset, and having an incredible community of support around me, I found my voice as a writer. This journal workbook is a testament to my personal growth and belief in the power of overcoming past struggles to create something meaningful.

Celebrating Seniors Art SessionsJuly 3, 2023
We are delighted to share a heartwarming success story from Chartwell White Eagle Long Term Care home. Recently, one of their residents, filled with artistic passion and determination, created her very own masterpiece. This incredible achievement is even more remarkable considering she wasn’t keen on participating in a group program. In fact, at first she said no. In a group setting, she fearlessly picked up her paint brush and started to paint her own painting of two beautiful figures, expressing herself through art. Witnessing the joy and pride reflected in her face when she finished her painting was truly awe-inspiring says the Programs Manager. Moreover, this experience allowed her to join a group, a prospect she had doubted before. Through this newfound sense of camaraderie, she discovered a profound feeling of belonging and friendship. |

White Eagle staff wholeheartedly celebrated her accomplishment, for she (and most) desire nothing more than to feel acknowledged and accepted. They made this celebration of her art a “big deal”, because it really is. Chris shares his journaling experience - April 8th, 2023
In November 2020, Kimberley and I were on a Zoom call . I noticed her because she was drinking out of a bottle of water. I was drinking out of a two-litre bottle of Coke. Oops. I forgot I was “committed” to my health. I purchased her Journal, My Life By Design, and feverishly made seven entries over the next twenty-seven months. I was “committed” to picking it up again. I did on February 15, 2023. It became a “dear diary” journal. Exactly what I needed. A documented version of a past, which in my view, was marred by failures in many areas of my life. On March 6, 2023, I wrote “I’m going to do this a little different”. I had found Kimberly’s Journal insert “10 Journal Prompts for Self Discovery”. I hadn’t been completing the Journal "by design". There had been nothing in my Journal about my FUTURE GOALS. Since that day, I have been relentless. I now capture my thoughts and goals. I finally utilize my calendar to a fault. Garbage day on my calendar. My health has drastically improved. I’m now exploring intermittent fasting. On my gratitude list, I have those who were not so kind to me. They also contributed to who I am today. |

I am aspiring to Robin Sharma’s 5 am club. I wake up at five. I’m wide awake, but I have nothing specific to do. So I roll over and go back to bed. I realized it wasn’t my general lack of “commitment”. It was specifically a lack of “commitment TO MYSELF! “Who’s going to know?”. Every goal, errand, and project that I think of putting off I now view as a lack of “commitment” to myself. Now I allow my Journal to speak to me. Kimberley, I can’t thank you enough for your contribution to my life with this very simple tool.

Pamela Shares her experience - March 4, 2023
"Thank you for an enjoyable time, assisting me to enjoy creating a painting and for being so committed to older people enjoying creativity... I attended one of Kimberley's online painting classes for people of a certain age. I didn't know what to expect and was delighted at how the time went. I regard myself as not possessed of artistic skills, this was a great way to experiment and actually create a painting. I gathered the canvas, paints, and brushes as suggested. I was afraid I'd be expected to paint a picture of something and my drawing skills are still about five years old. I was delighted that we actually got to experience the canvas, paint, and brushes in a playful way and were free to use other objects to help in our creation. I loved feeling free to play with the paint and allow whatever was being created just to flow. |
It did, and I painted a colorful and somewhat abstract canvas. I had fun, didn't make a big mess tried different brushes and techniques.
I liked what I painted and people I know were surprised by it. When I went traveling at a resort, I noticed that the painting in my room even looked a lot like my creation. Thank you for inviting me to be a part of this." Thank you Pamela!! (bottom middle) |

March 2022 We are done the San Diego sunset painting! It was fun to learn about the city. Can you believe this is the largest painting I have done so far? It was challenging at first, but just took my time and kept going back to it and trying different colours. Practice, practice, practice. So excited for this piece to hung in my friends office. Paint Your Heart Out
Wednesday, March 13th, 2020 My favourite parts of Young at Heart painting classes are.. firstly, the instructor is my young Canadian cousin, Kim, who suggested she do online classes after safety rules did not allow her access to her senior residences, where she has taught, for over 2 years. She missed them and her painting so much, she figured we could all do something creative together during the Corona virus Pandemic. I never thought of painting, and for years, teased by saying,”I only draw stick people”. I would always marvel when she posted photos of her seniors and their incredible paintings, so I took this as an invitation to see what could happen. I accepted, and started going onto ZOOM around the middle of March 2020. In total, we have made over 20 paintings, one every couple days, in approx., 1hr plus some Follow Up work! I keep coming back because Kim is such a great motivator, mentor and teacher, that I’m obsessed to be there. It is a win win, as I also get to see my cousins who also join in, so it’s like a mini family reunion. I live in Oregon,USA. Plus, Kim creates a stress free environment, by stating..”Doesn’t need to be perfect..we’re just HAVING FUN” and WE DO! Considering that this form of art is totally foreign to me, in the beginning, my confidence level was pretty low..now, after 7 weeks, it has escalated greatly. CONT.> |
Sometimes I feel a little over confident, until our next assignment humbles me! I find that everything I see in nature now, I ask myself..mmmmm wonder if I could paint this? My son, who is a sculptor and artist, by profession, has asked to have the painting of inside the Hibiscus flower, for his place..still seems surreal to me, but wonderful to me, as well.
I am almost 77, with no artistic talent, so, I say, if you actually have a desire to paint, no matter your age, let Kim take you under her wing and she will help you soar!!She has worked with seniors for many years and truly loves them. We have had a few children join in and she is an inspiration to them as well. I feel blessed to be a part of this program, and I’m sure future folks will feel the same....As we learn, we ALWAYS HAVE FUN!!! Helen Schulz, grateful cousin |

Do you Journal? 📘I started journaling 📖 a year ago today and wanted to share this with you! Over the past year I have been able to see my visions and my dreams come to life, all with the power of the pen! Most people think typing on a computer has the same effect and I'm going to tell you from my experience that the pen is way mightier. I look back on the challenges I had and the goals and dreams I desired and can now see them fully come to fruition. Do you Journal? 📘I started journaling 📖 a year ago today and wanted to share this with you! Over the past year I have been able to see my visions and my dreams come to life, all with the power of the pen! Most people think typing on a computer has the same effect and I'm going to tell you from my experience that the pen is way mightier. Today I had the pleasure of joining Carmelia Ray's branding photo shoot. Carmelia is a celebrity matchmaker, dating expert and coach, author of "Finding The One" and TV star of the online series, Mom vs Matchmaker.
And..... she has recently asked me to join her marketing team! I feel so blessed as I really like her brand and what she stands for as a female entrepreneur. I met Carmelia back in June when I asked her to help me with my online dating profile, after chatting together and getting to know each other better, she asked if I would help her with a few requests for social media. How could I resist? I had to say yes!
So friggin' amazing to be working with her team of successful entrepreneurs. We even have a few things up our sleeves for the month of October, Stay Tuned guys!!

Numerology Reading at The Rock Shop
The Rock Shop of Klienburg, 18 King Street East Bolton, ON Natural Stones, Tarot Cards, Crystals, Dream Catchers, Himalayan Salt lamps Jewellery & Much More! This experience was amazing!! Extremely friendly and great prices! So I visited the Rock Shop for my 'first-ever' numerology reading by Judy O on Saturday. I wasn't sure what to expect but after meeting with Judy it was clear why I was there. The session was extremely insightful and gave me further direction and clarification on how to pursue the important things in my life. It was light hearted and fun! Who knew numbers can be this fun! Did you know that when seeing 11's this means that you are aware and on the right path? COOL right!! And the reading told me that I have a highly creative energy! Who knew! haha! The remainder of the time we spent touring the lovely friendly shop with my girlfriends. I found some great sparkling stones and got inspired for whats to come with Kimberfly Design. Thank you to my friend Missy who organized the amazing day! :) I am so happy with the service that I had to share this with all of you! Check them out! This place is amazing! |
